Hey all,
I guess it's time for me to send this last blog post out for the Longball League. The league has suspended operations for the 2015 season. The league just became a little too much to deal with along with the responsibilities of a new marriage and instant family. However, as this league passes into history, I will still be running the UMFL this fall and Notes on a Pac 12 Scorecard will still be in your email boxes every Tuesday of the football season. I thank you all for making the league such fun to run over the years. As for me, I will still be watching all the baseball I can and going to games. My love of the sport is still strong and maybe I might just have time to get an article published in the SABR journal one of these years. So, I leave you to cheer on your MLB teams and hope you love the game as much as I do. I guess I'll now leave you all by paraphrasing Grantland Rice and now tell you all...
